From Sony and director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) comes Venom, based on the Marvel Comics anti-hero. Starring Tom Hardy in the title role alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate and Scott Haze, the film is set for theatrical release October 5, 2018.
Ok. So I’ll look at this way and try not to be so negative… The fact that they already released a damn trailer for a movie that wrapped filming barely three weeks ago – is insane. However — they have to know that Venom fans are bloodthirsty to at least catch a glimpse of Hardy as VENOM right? We don’t get that here. Not even close – although if you look closely at the scene where Hardy is freaking out in the MRI room, black veins start to come up his neck.
Plus we do indeed get a look at the black symbiote in a container as Riz Ahmed looks on (so I’m doubting he’s going to be Carnage in this flick – he’s more than likely a member of the Life foundation (aka the company that winds up creating more symbiotic villains)
