Wednesday is here again, which means a new week for new comics (MONEY SHOT & ESKIMO KISSES). If you are like me, you may still have a stack of comics that haven’t been read from last week, but how can anyone fault us for reading. Here is a list of books I will be picking up at my local comic shop.
MONEY SHOT #3 – $3.99
Vault Comics – Sarah Beattie, Tim Seeley, Kurt Michael Russell, Rebekah Isaacs, Crank!
While half of the XXX-plorers search for the big-balled seer whose orgasm could power their teleporter forever, Chris and Omar must seduce the malevolent warlord of planet Dry Reef in time for the livestream. But are they ready to trade the hottest tag-team in the universe for the fate of a world? Plus, the secret origin of Team Money Shot comes to a close!
ONCE & FUTURE #5 – $3.99
BOOM! Studios – Kieron Gillen, Dan Mora, Tamra Bonvillain, Ed Dukeshire
With Gran’s life hanging in the balance, Duncan comes face to face with another knight in search of the Grail, and only one will emerge victorious…
INVISIBLE KINGDOM #8 – $3.99
Dark Horse Comics – G. Willow Wilson, Christian Ward, Sal Cipriano
After the Sundog’s capture and the discovery of a disabled Lux ship, a game of cat and mouse breaks out between the stalled security ship and the Riveter. Caught in the middle, Grix’s coded messages to the Lux crew could be her precious crew’s undoing . . . or their only chance of escape.
MOUNTAINHEAD #3 – $3.99
IDW Publishing – John Lees, Ryan Lee, Doug Garbark, Shawn Lee
Everything in Mountainhead has been building to this chapter! On the road to Canada, a driver makes an ill-fated roadside stop. In Braeriach, the townsfolk are behaving strangely, animals are disappearing, and Theo Halbot seeks to share some good news with his family. And in the skies over Mount Rector, a storm is brewing. In this pivotal, must-read issue, secrets are revealed, blood is spilled… and the other shoe drops. Don’t miss the comic everyone will be talking about!
ESKIMO KISSES #1 – $3.99
Scout Comics – Christopher Sebela, Randy Stone, Henry Ponciano, Lucas Gattoni, Marina Krivenko
Originally, the word Eskimo came from an Agonquin term for “eater of flesh,” but that definition has been lost to the ages, until now. Present day, an isolated town in Northern Canada discovers the true origins when a stranger arrives and they are overrun by cannibalistic creatures. Along with the help of some locals, the town’s police officer and his pregnant wife must do anything they can to get out alive.
EXTRA PULLS: Basketful of Heads #3, Suicide Squad #1, Folklords #2, Black Stars Above #2, Cult Classic Creature Feature #3
