Available July 20th, starting at this year’s Gathering of The Juggalos festival, the card game ‘Into The Echo Side’, based on the world of the horrorcore rap legends Insane Clown Posse, will be unleashed upon the masses. Created by Jumpsteady, Louis Simpson and brought to life by artist Tom Wood, ‘Into The Echo Side’ looks damn brilliant and a lot of fun to play if you dig the wicked shit.
A fast-paced strategic deckbuilding game where players choose how they build their own decks as they go, to create powerful combos that will give them the edge needed to win.Set in in a world inspired by the music of the Insane Clown Posse, the Dark Carnival and Juggalo culture, which includes everything from Amy in the Attic to Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
‘Into The Echoside’ will retail for $40 and the starter box comes packed with 220 cards, a 12-sided die, gameboard and rulebook. If you manage to grab one at this year’s Gathering or pre-order the sucker on May 20th (HERE) you’ll also get three exclusive bonus cards: Wizard of the Hood, Blahzay Rose, and Inner City Posse. The card game was built for 2-4 players and you can play either a quick or longer paced match. An expansion titled ‘Oracle of the Three Rings’ is already in development.
As a fan of Insane Clown Posse and card games like Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone, this looks like a must-own package. Tom Wood’s art looks incredible and the world that ICP has created is so ripe for this type of exploration that it’s almost ridiculous to think a concept like this took so long to come into play. Better late than never – so thanks Jumpsteady. I need a copy of this as soon as possible.

Check out what artist Tom Wood had to say about the project below: (excerpts from IntoTheEchoSide.com)
“I did a lot of research. I mean, I had certainly known about ICP and their music for years, but it gave me a chance to explore the mythology of the Joker’s Cards, read through the lyrics and stay true to the material but do my own vision of what I thought the Joker’s Cards could be. I knew I had to stay true to what the Juggalos would accept though.

“It’s probably one of the most fulfilling projects I’ve ever worked on to be honest with you. Everything is just coming out beautiful and everybody is just stoked about it. I’m probably sleeping about three hours a night because I’m obsessed with making these cards living characters and making the whole thing just look as good as possible. For the next two to three months, I’m just going to be focused solely on “Into the Echo Side” and making it as good as it can be. I really am honored to be part of this project and Psychopathic is easily one of my favorite clients of all time. It’s just so exciting to be a part of this.” – Tom Wood
