From A24 Studios and director/writer/star James Franco, comes The Disaster Artist, which chronicles the true story and making of the infamous cult classic ‘bad movie’ The Room. Co-starring Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Alison Brie, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, Jacki Weaver, Ari Graynor, and Jason Mantzoukas, the film hits theaters December 1, 2017. A behind-the-scenes look at the making of Tommy Wiseau’s The Room (2003), which is infamous for being hailed as one of the worst movies ever made. The novel in which the film is based was written by Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell.
If you haven’t seen ‘The Room’ yet — go find it and watch it with some friends while intoxicated. This flick is a riot – Tommy Wiseau is hysterical and the dialog is so bad that you can’t help but love this absurd romantic drama that makes absolutely no sense. The fact that we have James Franco playing this guy makes me so happy… I can’t wait to see The Disaster Artist.
