From director Jayson Theissen and writer Meghan McCarthy comes the My Little Pony animated movie from Hasbro and Lionsgate. Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball are returning to voice the mane 6. New guest stars include Sia, Uzo Aduba, Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena and Liev Schrieber. My Little Pony: The Movie hits theaters October 6, 2017.
In the movie, a new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.
During today’s San Diego Comic Con 2016 panel, it was announced by Hasbro and Lionsgate that pop star Sia will be joining the voice cast of the upcoming My Little Pony: The Movie. She will be voicing Songbird Serenade and fans can expect her to lend not one but TWO original songs for the soundtrack as well. Check her character out below:
