From New Line Cinema, director Andy Muschietti (Mama) and based on the acclaimed novel by master author Stephen King, comes the big-screen adaptation of IT. Starring Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor and Bill Skarsgard. The film (part one) hits theaters on September 8, 2017.
In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers Club come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.
“Where you going? You look like a nice boy. I bet you have alotta friends” — It.
I could be dead wrong, but I don’t recall hearing Pennywise speak in any of the other trailers so far. I love the voice that actor Bill Skarsgard is going for here too – it’s definitely classic clown, but it’s a little “off” too. I mean hell – this thing is a shape-shifting monster that eats children – it’s gotta be creepy.
