From Millennium Films, director Neil Marshall, creator Mike Mignola and screenwriters Andrew Cosby/Andrew Golden, comes Hellboy: Rise of The Blood Queen. Starring David Harbour (Stranger Things) in the title role, the R-Rated reboot of the Dark Horse Comics co-stars Milla Jovovich and Ian McShane. There is no release date at this time.

Deadline has announced that Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich has landed the role of the Blood Queen and will go toe to hoof with Hellboy. I know a lot of people are still sour that this reboot is moving forward, killing any chance (albeit slim) of Guillermo Del Toro making a third and final film with Ron Perlman, but that isn’t happening – get over it – grow up, Chief Hopper is Hellboy and that’s cool with me. Ian McShane is also Professor Bloom (Hellboy’s adoptive father) and he’s always perfect. The fact that creator Mike Mignola is fully behind this project is what sold me too – as long as he’s behind it, so am i.
