Zombie film legend George A. Romero (Dawn of The Dead, Day of The Dead) has confirmed that his Marvel comics series Empire of The Dead will be adapted for television via Demarast Films.
The director had hinted at the interest of adapting Empire Of The Dead for television as early as 2014 at the Calgary Expo and now that planning has become reality. Check out my exclusive scoop HERE in regards to that.
Romero will write the series and executive produce alongside Peter Grunwald. Empire of The Dead is a loose continuation of Romero’s original Dead film trilogy and the final comic of the three volume series is due for release via Marvel this summer.
