The Handmaid’s Tale & Big Little Lies Own The 2017 Emmy Awards

The 2017 Emmy Awards were dished out last night on September 17, 2017. The Handmaid’s Tale from Hulu and Big Little Lies from HBO were the big winners, each grabbing five Emmys. Check out the full list of winners below!

Another Emmys, another relatively boring evening… Julia Louis-Dreyfus won another Emmy for VEEP, bringing her grand total to 11 (including other shows like Seinfeld) which makes her the person who has the most Emmys – ever? I think? Yeah definitely the most ever. I can’t wait until this show is over so Silicon Valley can finally win something. It isn’t right.

WIN A COPY OF BIG LITTLE LIES ON BLU-RAY HERE

Game of Thrones didn’t air in time to be eligible for this year’s ceremonies, otherwise it likely would’ve taken a few from The Handmaid’s Tale, which won the  top honour of the night. I would’ve loved to see Stranger Things take this one personally, but oh well. Hell – I would’ve liked to see Stranger Things win anything, but that just wasn’t the case. I didn’t watch the broadcast, but I saw the recaps and it looked like a big boring waste of time. Here are the winners:
