This week I saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters.  I’ve never seen a Godzilla movie before, so I might be the wrong person to review this.  It’s possible that Godzilla: King of the Monsters is would not be the best introduction to the series.  But director Michael Dougherty gave us Krampus, which I loved, so I had high hopes. And I’ve seen kaiju movies before, there have been good ones. Would this one hold up without a Charlie Hunnan-type character? Read more

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is an Epic Movie That You Want to Love, But Just Can’t (Review)

Don’t you just hate being disappointed? To look forward to a movie like this that had an epic trailer and teased something great, only to leave the theater feeling let down is an awful impression. That being said, it doesn’t mean that Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a bad movie. It is actually pretty enjoyable to an extent.
