Edgar Wright’s unique directing style shines in Baby Driver, definitely his most ambitious movie to date. It is the best movie of the year so far, hands down. From adrenaline fueled car chases to great character development and funny scenes, Baby Driver has it all. It’s like a mix of La La Land (2016) and Drive (2011). Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: A Perfect Marriage Between Period Piece & Zombie Film [Review]

This was the first on my 2016 list of movies I wanted to see and it did not disappoint.   I admit that I’m biased – it’s a zombie film and it’s British.  I loved the idea of this film so much that I might have decided that I liked the film before I even saw it.  It’s so clever! What I was not expecting was how perfectly the theme of Zombie Apocalypse could be patched into a Jane Austin novel.   It’s a parody but it actually stands on its own as a fully functional film.   Read more
