Pewdiepie Dropped from YouTube After Copying Die Hard 3 Villain’s Racist Scheme

Both YouTube and Disney announced that they are severing ties with the channel’s biggest star, Pewdiepie after he released (then deleted) a prank video in which he paid two men to hold up signs reading “Death to All Jews”. This however was just the most recent anti-semetic joke that Pewdiepie (real name: Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) had been accused of making through his YouTube channel which has a record-breaking 50-million plus subscribers. Assassin’s Creed: Visually Rich but Badly in Need of a Re-write [Review]

I could see one movie to review this week and the choice came down between Assassin’s Creed and Sing.  One of these had already been given substantially lower viewer ratings than the other but it has also been given Michael Fassbender, one of the most handsome men ever.  The choice was obvious.  And for those of you facing a similar choice, I am here to tell you – Michael Fassbender spends an unnecessarily large amount of screen time without a shirt and because of that I enjoyed this show a lot more than I otherwise would have. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – The ‘Anti-Hobbit’ A Trilogy Packed into One Movie [Review]

I’ve been sick of superhero movies for a while now, hype or no hype.  There’s just been so many.  I remember this happened with vampire movies and also zombie movies – not long after they get popular there’s a giant glut of the things.  Then someone comes along to reinvent it and gets blamed for the whole thing tanking.  The genre is ripe; I bet the Stephanie Meyers of superhero movies is busy making a genre-killer as we speak.  Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is probably not said genre-killer, but it is definitely a warning sign that one is coming.
