From 20th Century Fox and director Ridley Scott, comes the follow-up to his prequel film Prometheus — Alien: Covenant. Starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, James Franco, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby, the film hits theaters May 19, 2017.
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.
I’ll admit. I was not excited for Alien Covenant until seeing that latest trailer (now I can’t wait…. and I don’t typically see too many horror films on the bigscreen). The new poster may not be as cool as the ‘Run‘ teaser that was previously out there, but it does give you a peak at potentially the Alien Queen’s dome (aka the top of her head in the middle near the top of the poster).
