From FOX and director James Mangold (The Wolverine) comes the third and final solo film of the franchise – Logan. The highly anticipated X-Men spin-off feature will be the final time star Hugh Jackman will portray Wolverine and also stars Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez. It hits theaters March 3, 2017.
In 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why. A government-type operation is turning mutant children into killing machines. From this, Logan emerges as a mentor to a mutant girl, who has two claws instead of his three.
Believe the hype, people are hailing Logan as one of the best superhero films ever made. The initial response from critics has been overwhelming and it looks like the normal audience is in for a treat as long as they stick around to see all of the credits (Collider has confirmed an additional three minutes have been added to the movie after the critic screenings)… People usually know to stick around for a Marvel flick and check out a secret post-credits scene and Logan is no different in that regard (even though it seems to be quite drastic in every other sense). So when you check it out next weekend in theaters – stay a while longer people… We’ll see what happens.
