From Miramax, Broad Green Pictures and director Mark Waters (Mean Girls), comes the sequel to cult classic from 2003 – Bad Santa 2. Starring Billy Bob Thornton, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly and Kathy Bates. It hits theaters November 23, 2016.
A criminal (Billy Bob Thornton) conspires with his mother (Kathy Bates) to bilk a charity.
As a fan of the original, who watches the damn thing at least once every year during the holidays, the trailer for Bad Santa 2 has me pumped. It’s been 13 years since the first movie, but seeing most of the original cast back in business (including Brett Kelly as Thurman – holy shit hell yes), has me incredibly hopeful. The red band trailer is hilarious – loaded with that beloved crude humour that jampacked the first film, along with a non-stop flurry of laughs.
