From 20th Century Fox and director Ridley Scott, comes the follow-up to his prequel film Prometheus — Alien: Covenant. Starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, James Franco, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby, the film hits theaters May 19, 2017.
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.
I have to say. I’ve seen that amazing poster. I’ve seen that incredibly brutal teaser trailer. I know that this is a movie that is absolutely real, but I just can’t understand how a sequel to Prometheus wound up coming to fruition. That being said – take a look at the full cast picture (courtesy of Fox) below and get a glimpse at James Franco (whom I didn’t even know was in this – guy is in every film ever made if you look hard enough and he kills it every time).
